KGP Flush FAQ

Do you have an Allergen statement?

This product is not manufactured with milk, egg, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, wheat, peanuts or soy. It is produced in a GMP facility that processes some of these allergens. As part of GMP, quality procedures to prevent cross contamination and allergen contamination include separate warehousing, special air handling systems, physical separators, robust cleaning procedures, residue testing after cleaning, equipment surface swabs, etc. The standard operating procedures ensure compliance with current FDA guidelines and requirements for allergen control.

Where can I find the directions for the KGP Flush?

Directions for use can be found either on the KGP Flush product page, or on the bottle.

What does KGP Flush do?

It temporarily relieves symptoms due to kidney stones and gallstones such as: pain in the region of the kidneys, urinary complaints, reduced urine flow, painful urination, and reduced bile flow, as per Materia Medica.

Why do you recommend mixing apple juice with KGP Flush and can I use something else?

You can use any juice you want, or even water. However, apple juice is high in malic acid which assists in the "dissolving" action of this kidney detox formula. Make sure that you use fresh organic apple juice -- not the bottled cooked apple juice found in most supermarkets. Also, make sure you dilute the juice and spread its consumption out over several days so you don't make your system overly acid.

How long before I see results with KGP Flush?

Although it is impossible to calculate the individual reaction to KGP Flush, many people will see positive changes and results within 2 days of taking it. Some people have even reported positive results in as little as 1-2 hours!

What is the optimum time interval between the KGP Flush and starting the Liver/Blood Detox?

When using this health supplement in preparation for the liver detoxification, the closer the timing of the two detoxes the better. But at a minimum, make sure you start the liver detoxification within 30 days of starting the kidney detox so the gallstones don't get a chance to reharden before flushing.

Is KGP Flush still beneficial even if you don't follow up with a liver detoxification program?

It is absolutely beneficial when used without liver detoxification - particularly in the kidneys. However, to receive the full benefit of a purge deep within the gallbladder and liver, you will need to perform a liver cleansing program after using the KGP Flush.

Are there any dietary restrictions for the KGP Flush?

There are no food restrictions, but be smart. Reduce your intake of what causes problems in the first place: processed foods, excessive amounts of meat, commercial dairy, and sugar. Try to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.

I did not see stones in the toilet, why is that?

We have heard from many people that they have seen "horrible" things floating in the toilet. But many notice nothing. That's not unusual. In many cases the stones are too small to notice -- or too few. Also, using psyllium during the detox, which makes the elimination of waste much easier, tends to encapsulate the waste and makes things harder to see. Another thing to keep in mind is that people often confuse the little "soap" beads that the body can make out of the olive oil in the alkaline environment of the intestinal tract as stones. On the other hand, the fact the body often produces "soap" stones doesn't mean that it isn't also flushing real gallstones. In the end, though, it's not what you see, it's how you feel. Wait for a few days after the cleanse and then evaluate. Do you feel lighter and cleaner? Is your breathing a little easier, less mucousy? Does food taste better? Etc. These are the tangible results you're after. Or if nothing else, were you able to break some bad eating habits or lose some of that extra weight.

If I am already taking a Diuretic, can I still do the Kidney Cleanse?

The diuretic effects of this formula may enhance the toxic effects of certain medications, such as digoxin (used to treat congestive heart failure), phenytoin (for seizures), anticoagulants, and others. For this reason, people taking prescription medications should not use KGP Flush without first consulting a health care provider. Also, anyone with severe kidney problems should not use this formula without first consulting their physician.

Is it normal to experience gas with the recommended herbs in the Kidney Cleanse?

Some people do indeed experience gas for the first one or two days on the program. It usually passes (no pun intended) very quickly.

Pertaining to the instructions, how much is a 'dropper' or 'dropperful'?

One dropper equals 1ml, as marked on the dropper.

Should I take this supplement between meals or with food? Will it be more effective if taken on an empty stomach?

The tincture is not necessarily more effective on an empty stomach, but absorption into the bloodstream will be much faster if taken without food.

I can't use your tinctures because they have alcohol in them, what should I do?

You can eliminate most of the alcohol in the tinctures by adding the tincture dose to some warm water. As the water cools most of the alcohol will evaporate.
