Jon’s newsletter states that Glucotor® is an ideal companion to Accelerator™. But doesn’t Glucotor® restrict carb absorption? Should I take it only with regular carbs and not with high nutrient carbs as contained in Accelerator™ or Superfood.
Glucotor® doesn't restrict carb absorption. It slows it down, which lowers the body's glycemic response. In fact, Accelerator™ contains Banaba Leaf, as does Glucotor®, to assist in the process. And both contain Aktivated barely, an extremely slow absorbing carbohydrate -- again, for the same purpose. It wouldn't hurt to take Glucotor® with either Accelerator™ or Private Reserve Superfood (particularly if you're using them in fruit smoothies). However, the real benefit is to use the Glucotor® with your non-Accelerator/Private Reserve meals -- thus extending the benefit of slow absorption (minimal glycemic spike) to all your meals.
